The highest qualification available in Investigations and Risk Management under the Australian Qualifications Training Framework. This Diploma will enable graduates to operate an Investigation, Security and Risk Management business. This qualification unlike University programs is “streetwise” in anticipating risk, and responsive in its mitigation and prevention practices. Graduates from the Academy program conduct Risk Management Analysis for the Banking, Gaming, Hospitality, and Retail industries as well as for Government Departments.

The course takes approximately 15 weeks to complete (Distance Based Learning), culminating in the completion of a Security Risk Management plan.
To satisfy requirements for the Diploma in Security and Risk Management the student must complete the Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management + the following 8 core units and 4 electives outlined below.

Presenters Course presenters are all recognised industry experts holding relevant experience and training qualifications. They include security professionals, risk management specialists, former and current serving police investigators, lawyers and corporate investigation specialists.
Prerequisites Students must possess reasonable literacy and numeracy skills with a sound grasp of spoken English and have completed the Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management.
