Expand your Private Investigative career and get qualified to accept Government department instructions. This course is also excellent for Government department Team Leaders, Managers and other staff involved in the investigation of or prevention of Fraud and related incidents. A “must have” requirement to investigate in the Federal Public Service and currently under consideration by State and Local Government departments as well.
Course Outline:
For face-to-face students, this course is delivered over 5 days, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.45pm daily. Distance based learning students can commence this course at any time and work at your own pace and leisure.
The 5-day option suits those employees sponsored by their Employer, persons between jobs, on holidays or who can make flexible holiday arrangements. You will enjoy this highly interactive and scenario based training fully supported by assignments and projects presented on a CD. Distance Based Learning participants may commence this course at any time.
If you enroll in the Distance Based Learning module of the course a dedicated lecturer who will manage your course progress and answer your questions will support you. A weekend class contact seminar is scheduled as part of your study where you will meet other students and your lecturer. You will have the opportunity to develop new industry contacts, meet new people with similar goals and ask questions and discuss ideas.
Employment Opportunities:
Successful completion of this course will enable you to accept instructions from Federal Government departments. (State and Local Government’s are also considering this qualification as a minimum for external agencies to conduct investigations). As Government departments continue to “right size” Human Resource requirements, the trend to “outsource” non-core business activities is inevitable.
This qualification will position you as an investigator to meet the requirements necessary to undertake instruction within these departments. As a Sub-Contractor to another Investigations Firm, your qualifications and experience will ensure a continuing flow of meaningful work and assist these companies to continue submitting tenders in this field.
Delivery:
Not one but several lecturers with a vast array of industry knowledge and experience present your training course. In class activity includes module presentations, group and individual discussions, study of case scenarios, statement taking, report writing, videos and exercises to get you thinking.
